Help Restore Avatar Palace
The Time Machine restores only what surviving evidence supports. If you kept an old Palace folder, prop cache, room image, or backup, it may contain one of the pieces below.
We name missing material honestly. Modern replacements will never be passed off as recovered history.
New in this checkpoint
Ten surviving Palace prop databases spanning 2003–2025 raise verified catalog recovery from 3,921 to 5,960 unique IDs. They also restore exact placement for the 95 previously donated bitmaps. Creator-entered labels and activity fields are not published.
Fourteen exact image files from an AVP full-media backup restore the active-script artwork for all twelve Take Av rooms, Chat Zone 1, and the small Elite Palaces banner at the gate. The active 800 × 480 rooms are now the default view; the separate 19 January 2015 AVPLab snapshot remains available through an in-room switch.
EPprops2 contributes 1,160 complete, non-18+ avatar combinations as generic Archive
Visitors for the offline take demonstration. Names, timestamps, original line
positions, blessing records, accounts, logs, and messages are excluded.
Most valuable places to look
- Old
backupOLD,client, oravatarsfolders. - Palace
.prpfiles or client-side prop caches. - Unaltered room-media folders, archived site copies, CDs, or old hard drives.
- Files with their original names—even when they appear duplicated or broken.
Preserve safely
- Work from a copy. Keep the original folder untouched.
- Keep filenames, folders, timestamps, and extensions unchanged.
- Do not run old executables or anything from a historic
binfolder. - Never send accounts, access records, ban data, IP addresses, logs, or private messages.
Room artwork still sought
Only these two named backgrounds remain unresolved in the current room-art list.
